Gennadi
Gennadi is a traditional Greek village in the south of Rhodes, approx 63km from Rhodes Town. Friendly tavernas, bars and cafes can be found in the side streets of this village for a true Greek welcome.
The long stretch of beach with a mix of pebbles, stones and sand continues for as long as the eye can see and the water is crystal clear.
Just 5km south of this sleepy village you will find the famous Mojito Beach which is a popular hang out for the locals and the in-crowd. Famous for its Mojitos and with the beach lined with Bacardi bottles this is a great place to chill out in the day with waiter service on the beach! As it gets later on in the afternoon, the tunes are pumped up and it becomes party central.
Travel further south from Gennadi and you will reach Lachania and finally Prasonnissi where the rough Aegean sea meets the calm Mediterranean. One of the best windsurfing spots on the island!
