Kiotari

Kiotari is situated in the beauitful south and approximately 60km from Rhodes. Here you can enjoy a lovely coastal walk along the miles of beach a mix of sand and pebbles or enjoy a panoramic 'train' scenic tour around the whole resort. Kiotari is home to the many 4 and 5 star all inclusive hotels on the island and so the perfect place to pick if you are looking for good hotel facilities and still with the great villages of Lindos, Pefkos, Gennadi and Lardos on your doorstep.

Watersports enthusiasts will love that there are 3 watersports schools along this stretch so whether you are a skier, wakeboarder or want to be whizzed across the bay on an inflatable, the choice is yours! You can also enjoy an unforgettable sailing experience on a private yacht. Windsurfers also head south to Prasonnissi which is about a 20 minute drive away. This is where the calm Mediterranean meets the rough Aegean sea at the cape of the island and is a mecca for windsurfers.

Zeus have a small riding stable at the south end of Kiotari beach (close to the Miraluna Hotel on the coast road) and what better way to spend the early morning or evening than a ride along the beach or through the forest.

If you are looking for something a little more 'Greek' than the hotel resort in Kiotari, then head inland to Askiplio. This lovely little village has a church dating back to 1060 and an interesting folklore museum housed in the old olive press. Take the walk up to the castle ruins where the panoramic view stretches further down the coast and across the green valleys.
