What shall I expect from my accommodation in Lindos village?

For those of you, who have not been to Lindos before, Welcome! We would like to invite you to one of the most beautiful villages in Greece. The majority of guests that come to the village, are returning, not just once or twice, often annually! Ask any of them, and they will tell you the same thing, they feel they are 'coming home', 'safe' and 'welcome'.

Because Lindos is not a custom built tourist resort, your accommodation will probably once have been someone's home, and could be hundreds of years old. This does not mean they are not cared for or clean. 'Basic' they normally are.

Cooking facilities are usually only two electric rings, fridge, and kettle which is ideal for breakfast or snacks and gives you the opportunity to sample the wonderful restaurants in the village.

Toilet/Shower rooms are usually combined, with a grid in the floor for the shower water to drain away.

Some of the studios/apartments have 'Lindian' style beds. This means mattresses on a raised platform. 'Sala' means living room in Greek, and some 'Salas' have been converted into studios. This style of accommodation is charming, and creates a real 'Greek homely' atmosphere.

Streets in Lindos are steep, and steps are high and uneven so it is not ideal for anyone with walking difficulties. Apart from that Lindos is a versatile village suitable for any age group. Often first time guests arrive in the middle of the night and aren't too sure about their choice of location. That all changes as soon as the sun rises up out of the Aegean Sea.

Our aim at Exclusively Lindos is to ensure our guests know exactly what type of holiday they have booked, long before they leave home. . Everyone we work with, we know on a personal level, and they have been hand picked by us to help make sure that every aspect of your holiday, goes as smoothly as possible.
