How much is the local tourist tax
From 1st January 2024 the local government tourist tax has been replaced by the new "Climate Resilience Tax" also referred to as an "Environment Fee"
Please be advised the current rates per apt/hotel room/villa per night are as follows (subject to change):
1-2 stars 1.50€
3 stars 3.00€
4 stars 7.00€
5 stars and including Villas 10.00€
In some cases this is payable directly to the owner/property on arrival. If the property collects it at the booking stage, it will appear on a separate line on your invoice.
