Ancient architectural history and design blend with 21st Century expectations of comfort and service at Melenos Lindos. Designed and built as a village within a village, the hotel is built on terraces and combines Byzantine, Medieval, Arabic and Ottoman influences through mosaics, hand painted Iznik tiles, fabrics, ceramics, antiques, hand carved wooden finishings, archways and raised Lindian platform beds - all with a contemporary slant. The public areas include the terraced guest garden with exquisite local flowers and pebbled mosaics, fountains and fruit trees. The roof top dining terrace provides an exotic atmosphere with Medieval style tents, lanterns and a view like no other of the Aegean and north eastern coastline. The delicious menus are based on traditional Greek cooking but include eastern influences.
Melenos Lindos Hotel consists of 12 unique beautiful suites overlooking the Aegean Sea. All suites are open plan, some with private verandas or terraces, some with shared. All suites have traditional raised wooden platform sleeping areas, private marbled bathrooms with showers and sitting areas, full or partial sea or garden views. Every suite has a safe box, queen size bed, Coco-Mat matresses and pillows, beach towles, satellite TV, espresso machine, kettle, mini bar and hair dryer.
Double Suites sleep 2 - 3 persons. These are open plan with a traditional Lindian platform bed, sitting area, writing desk, marbled bathroom with shower, shared courtyard and a partial sea view.
Senior Suites Sleep 2 -3 persons. These are large, open plan rooms with a raised Lindian platform bed, sitting area, writing desk, marbled bathroom with shower and shared veranda with sea view.
Superior Suites Sleep 2 -3 persons. These are open plan rooms with raised Lindian bed, sitting area, writing desk, marbled bathroom with shower and private terrace with a full sea view overlooking the harbour.
Honeymoon Suites Sleep 2 - 3 persons. These open plan rooms have a vaulted ceiling, Lindian bed, sitting area, writing desk, marbled bathroom with shower, terrace with retractable canvas roof, seating and garden or partial sea view.
Master Suite - Sleeps up to 4 persons. This suite has two bedrooms each with Lindian platform beds, seating areas and writing desks and one bathroom. This suite enjoys a large terrace overlooking the bay and up to the Acropolis. This Master Suite may also be connected to the adjoining suite creating a larger suite sleeping up to 6 persons in total.
